We are a family-run dog walking and pet sitting services, established in February 2008 with the intention of helping to improve the quality of life for all pets. Based in Brechin, dog walks and pet sitting are available in locations within a one mile radius of the town. Home boarding and dog daycare are not services I can currently offer. About Us
Why Choose Us
Catering for All Types of Pets
Always being passionate about all animals, I have had every kind of pet.. from gerbils and guinea pigs to ferrets and mynah birds (and of course dogs!) my entire life. I also have many years of equestrian experience having spent my youth caring for and exercising horses. Being an active outdoor person I decided to set up my business as Jan's Playful Paws and have been established since February 2008.
Dog Walking

Out in Brechin and surrounding Angus Area. Pleasant countryside walks away from traffic and roads, dogs can be walked on or off the lead. After initial meeting and assessment, walks can be booked by a single phone call or text.
Healthy options
Whether it's for regular exercise, a toilet break during the day when owners are at work or away, or to socialise with other dogs, every need will be catered for. For regular, occasional or one off walks we are happy to help.
Individual care
Over the years, I have assisted with many dogs with health issues/special requirements. Every effort is made to ensure all are treated with respect and individual care.
Legal responsibilities
In compliance with the Dog Fouling (Scotland) Act 2003, all dog faeces are picked up and disposed of appropriately.
Prices
Initial assessment and meeting - FREE
Rates vary slightly depending on area.
Weekends £15 per hour for 1 dog. More than 1 dog please contact me for a quote and availability

3 Dogs - By Arrangement
Shorter solo walks £8 minimum charge for one dog.
Other local areas - price and availabilty depends on location (distance from Brechin)
